About me…

Welcome to my site! I am updating my page since I started this blog back in February 2018.

I started traveling when my older son, daughter-in-law and my 2 youngest grandchildren moved in.  Oh…I forgot…they came with a puppy that they decided to get a few weeks before moving in!!  Guess who was home all day to take care of the puppy?  When I invited them to stay it was supposed to be for about 3 months while they looked for another place after losing the lease on the house they were renting.  Here we are 6 years later and traveling seems the best way to keep us all sane.  It gives me a break and I enjoy coming home and seeing everyone and they get the house to themselves without me getting tense about every little thing. After I started traveling my family and friends encouraged me to start a blog to share my photos and stories.  I enjoy it though I have numerous times taken a break from it.

So…come along and enjoy my travels.  I only travel within the United States and Canada now.  Flying and getting around the various terminals at the airports has become difficult.  I have seen Italy, Ireland, London, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Gibraltar, Aruba, St. John, Curacao, several areas of Mexico, St. Croix, Panama, all states except North Dakota, gone on several cruises, etc.  The only place that was really left on my bucket list when I decided to stop dealing with airports was Iceland…its still on my bucket list but I have resigned myself to the fact I will not go there.  I am okay with it but never say never…but not likely.  Oh…and North Dakota…I plan to go there once this quarantine gets lifted and I know that traveling won’t negatively affect my health or in the fall…when the weather is cooler but one way or another, I’ll get there.  🙂

In addition to my blog, I have a page on Facebook:         https://www.facebook.com/kmgtravelphotography and a few months ago I started selling some of my images-framed and matted.  I am also hoping to add a section to my page to sell just the prints so you can frame and/or mat as you see fit.  You can check this out at: https://www.lovinglifewithkmgphotography.com/
